LA Lakers Injury Report (Dec. 13): The latest on Jarred Vanderbilt and Gabe Vincent's condition.

The Los Angeles Lakers will face Victor Wembanyama for the first time in the 2023-24 NBA season when they visit the San Antonio Spurs. The Lakers are playing the second game in a back-to-back.

This may cause a narrow rotation. LeBron James and Anthony Davis both expressed uncertainty about their availability for tonight's game after the team's sad 127-125 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

Both players have slept one night since their injuries. Since the Lakers' 122-119 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 10, James has been dealing with a calf contusion.

Davis has been bothered with hip spasms and an adductor injury since the Lakers' 108-107 loss to the Miami Heat on November 6. Both stars were absent in the subsequent games, but have since appeared in every game.

While James may rest for the night, Davis, who aggravated his hip injury against the Mavericks, may miss the game. Both players will make dubious, possibly game-changing judgments.

Meanwhile, Jarred Vanderbilt, who was interrogated against the Mavericks, will be treated similarly. Due to lower back spasms, he was unable to play against the Mavericks.

Vanderbilt might play despite missing last night's game due to the James and Davis incident.

Gabe Vincent is the article's other player listed. The former Miami Heat guard has been sidelined indefinitely due to a left knee effusion.
