LeBron James' 21-point half gives Lakers a 13-point lead over Pelicans. "LePennyPincher wants that $500k": Lakers fans go nut

In the NBA In-Season Tournament semifinals, LeBron James and the LA Lakers are leading the New Orleans Pelicans 2-0 after an incredible first half.

With just three points in the first quarter, the four-time MVP had a difficult start.

The next quarter, he added another eighteen points to lead all scorers with twenty-one points. James made 3-3 deep shots and 4-4 free throws from the charity stripe.

After the opening 12 minutes of play, the Pelicans had a narrow 30-29 advantage.

James' scorching second quarter carried the Lakers to a 67-54 lead at the intermission.

The T-Mobile Arena audience in Las Vegas stood up after "King James" scored 11 points in a row at one point.

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers' entire team, including the staff and coaches, will receive a $5,000 bonus if they win.

The millionaire may not care much about the sum, but he is giving it his all for the team's success as well as honor and prestige.
