Lakers Player Slams Dillon Brooks for LeBron James Antics
Dillon Brooks of the Houston Rockets has been coming after LeBron James for a time now, most notably during last year's playoff series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies.
While Brooks is no longer in Memphis, he continues to play the villain and was ready to go at James when the Rockets faced the Lakers earlier this week.
While some love Brooks' theatrics and believe they are beneficial to the league, Lakers forward Rui Hachimura criticized Brooks after LA's win against Houston, stating he simply wants to be a part of LeBron's history.
"Whatever [Dillon Brooks] is doing, it doesn't do anything to [LeBron]... Brooks, just wants to be a part of [LeBron's] legacy, I guess." Brooks will face the Grizzlies for the first time in his career on Wednesday,
and he will almost surely have some antics in store for them as well, having already spoken out against his previous team ahead of the game.
While Brooks can irritate some people, he is unashamedly himself and plays the same way every game.
The Houston Rockets wanted to bring Brooks in after years of being in the lottery to instill a level of energy that had been lacking for a long.
The Rockets appeared to be benefiting from his presence as they got off to a good start.
