One-year deal for Toscano-Anderson by Kings

The Kings are supposedly adding a successful player to Northern California for depth.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday that Sacramento signed former Warriors guard/forward Juan Toscano-Anderson to a one-year contract, citing sources.

The Warriors won the 2021-22 NBA title with Toscano-Anderson in three seasons.

After publishing the report, he confirmed it on X, formerly Twitter.

After rising through the G League and becoming a productive two-way player for the Warriors, the 30-year-old inked a one-year contract with the Lakers in summer 2022.

Before the 2022-23 trade deadline, Utah and LA made a Toscano-Anderson deal.

Toscano-Anderson averaged 3.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists with the Lakers and Jazz last season. He played 13.5 minutes/game.

Oakland native played in NBA G League for Capitanes de Ciudad de México. However, he will play for the Kings in Northern California again.
