Cowboys' Micah Parsons Explains Tua Tagovailoa's Perceived Shade
On the evening of December 5, Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons took to social media to clarify his viral comments on Miami Dolphins stars Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa.
"I truly believe I can be Tyreek Hill's quarterback," Parsons said on the Bleacher Report podcast "The Edge."
He also stated the same thing about Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers, seemingly dismissing both Tagovailoa and Niners QB Brock Purdy - two 2023 MVP possibilities.
"I'm talking crazy right now," he said before his daring move. It's a controversy as old as the NFL itself. Is it the quarterback who creates the great playmaker? Or is it the other way around?
Needless to say, this clip enraged many Tagovailoa and Purdy fans on X, so Parsons responded later that day."If I say im talking crazy obviously I'm playing around lol!!" Parsons elaborated.
"I tell Ceedee [Lamb] that if I was playing db, I could [hold] him to 0 catches!" I know I'm being theatrical, but I think Tyreek can make anyone look fantastic!"Despite paring back his original comment, Parsons still threw some shade at Tagovailoa after the fact.
"I do think tyreek [Hill] can make anyone look very good!" In his explanation, the Cowboys linebacker reiterated.Tagovailoa is no stranger to this predicament.
Some NFL fans and commentators continue to dismiss the Dolphins quarterback, blaming his success on Hill, head coach Mike McDaniel, and Miami's bevy of speedsters on offense.
