Colorado recruit's message: 'You claim you're a dawg, why are you not coming to Colorado?'
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders stated that he would fix his weak offensive line during the season.
"Coach Prime" made a positive step forward on Thursday by earning the commitment of five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton.
Seaton, the 247 Sports 2024 class's No. 2 offensive tackle, made the announcement on Fox Sports' "Undisputed." "You've got to believe in Coach Prime," Seaton explained.
"Having the opportunity to play with someone who has done it at the highest level, gold-jacket level, very few people can say that." Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are two of my Heisman Trophy candidates. They're fantastic. You know how it goes.
"And if you ain't rocking with us, and you claim to be a dawg, why aren't you coming to Colorado?" "Why aren't you assisting someone who resembles you?"According to ESPN, Seaton considered Alabama, Ohio State, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, and Tennessee.
All season, the Buffaloes were unable to protect quarterback Shedeur Sanders, enabling him to be sacked 52 times. After Colorado's loss to UCLA in late October, Sanders was forthright about his offensive line's performance.
"The [offensive] line has to improve," Sanders told Fox Sports. "It's difficult to run the ball, and we have to figure that out because you're now one-dimensional,
and it's easy to stop a one-dimensional team." And that is who we are at the moment. The overall picture is that you go find new linemen. That's the image, and I'm going to paint it correctly."
