Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid rip officiating after loss: 'A bit embarrassing'

Following their 20-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night, Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and head coach Andy Reid slammed officials.

After the team turned the ball over on downs during their final drive, Mahomes became enraged. He was spotted yelling at officials and being restrained after slamming his helmet on the ground.

He appeared to be irritated by the offsides call on Kadarius Toney as well as a missed offsides call on Buffalo Bills star Von Miller.

Following the game, both team captains took jabs at the officials, which will almost certainly result in fines.

"It's difficult to swallow. To take away talent like that, for a player like Travis [Kelce] to make a play like that, you want to see the guys on the field decide the game, not just from me and football in general.

They're only human. They make errors. But we talk about something every week," he remarked.

"It's up to you. At that precise moment. No, not for me. Having a flag alter the game's outcome. I've never been called for offensive offsides.

They will notify you if this occurs. Throughout the game, there was no warning. And then you make a decision like that in the last minute? Another game, we're discussing the officials.
