"Carlos Alcaraz would have won the same 10, 15 years ago." - Novak Djokovic refutes Rafael Nadal's uncle Toni's argument that previous players were superior.

Novak Djokovic disagrees.Toni Nadal wrote in El Pais that tennis players from 10-15 years ago were better than those now.

He thinks Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka would have defeated Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev, Casper Ruud, and others at their best.

When Djokovic was informed, he disagreed. Novak Djokovic stated Carlos Alcaraz would have had the same success a decade ago, claiming each generation has its own tennis prodigies.

"I disagree because each age has great tennis players who lead it.

Alcaraz, Rune, and Sinner now. In the last two years, they dominated most events.

The way Carlos plays, defends, attacks. It's complete and would have won 10 or 15 years ago because each generation has its own champions "Serb remarked.

Toni Nadal also said Novak Djokovic was better 10-15 years ago, but the Serb disagreed.

When asked about a potential meeting with his elder self, Djokovic responded, "It would be a terrific struggle.

I had more energy and movement, but today I have more experience and mental strength.
