Alabama Five-Star Wide Receiver Leaves Program Ahead of College Football Playoff

Prior to their College Football Playoff semifinal clash against the Michigan Wolverines, Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson

Tide are not experiencing a perfect day. There are some challenges that they must overcome.

The transfer portal has resulted in the loss of a productive wide receiver recruit who was a former five-star prospect for the SEC powerhouse

Ja'Corey Brooks has decided to drop out of the program.  In the 2021 cycle, Brooks was ranked

as the second-best wide receiver in the league. He had a very successful season in 2022, catching 39

catches for 674 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had a very good season. On the other hand,

the most significant game of his career was in the 2021 Iron Bowl, when he was the recipient of

a touchdown throw from Bryce Young that tied the game and forced the game to go into overtime.

Brooks have talent, but he did not play a significant amount during the previous season
