According to Adrian Wojnarowksi of ESPN, National Basketball Association (NBA) punished Green after he punched Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic on Tuesday night and was subsequently ejected from the game.

According to ESPN, Green, Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr., and agent Rich Paul are scheduled to meet on Thursday to establish a counseling plan that will be effective in obtaining assistance for Green. It was claimed by ESPN that the suspension was implemented with the intention of “allowing Green to take the time he might need to deal with challenges he’s facing.”
